Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with the Filipino Faculty & Staff Association! Enjoy traditional Filipino dishes, refreshments, and opportunities to learn about Filipino American history while connecting with Filipino faculty and staff mentors. After Grief Comes Home
Presented by UC Merced sociologist Blythe George, this evening's gathering centers song, story, and collective creation to honor Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons and to build community awareness and healing. The program includes opening remarks, a preview of new statewide MMIP report findings, and a collaborative community art activity exploring grief, memory, and healing. Dinner will be provided, and no artistic experience is required. Zoom option available.
