Janelle is one of the scholar coordinators that support the Asian & Pacific Islander Resource Center. In Janelle's time working with us they have volunteered to host several programs and workshops geared towards building community in the center. These programs included, a PilipinX Cultural Competency presentation and a LinkedIn assistance workshop. Janelle also attended an annual conference at UC Berkeley called SEASON where they presented on the experiences of PilinpinX students and ways to support PilipinX students. Additionally alongside two other SC's Janelle designed and facilitated an "Understanding Identity & Privilige," workshop that received a great deal of positive feedback from student participants.
